Fireworks

Jeff and I had put Max to bed like normal. Jeff and I were watching The Office when all of the sudden we hear loud pops and booms. Max wakes up screaming and I remember that Santa Fe High School is having a homecoming celebration. Dang it! Jeff went ahead and got Max up since our dogs and every other dog in the neighborhood was freaking out. We took Max outside to watch and I'm so glad we did. We didn't take him to fireworks the past 2 years at the 4th of July because we thought it may scare Max and it is always so late. There we were my two favorite boys, Max sitting on Jeff's shoulders clapping and saying "yeah!" So it may have been a surprise but it ended up being a happy one.
