As I told you all earlier Max had his first day of school yesterday and I couldn't be happier. I am one proud mama hen sitting here! I wasn't able to get off work to take him for his first day so Jeff had to take him all by himself. Jeff called me as soon as he dropped Maxwell off (as instructed of course) to give me the scoop. To my relief Max did GREAT! As soon as Jeff walked in the door he recognized a teacher from another class that he met the day we took a tour. He reached out for her and she took Jeff and Max to his class. Then he immediately reached over the door to the teacher and away he went to play. No good bye no kisses. Jeff was proud and told me he thought this was a good thing as I was tearing up at work. When I picked him up he was getting a diaper change and his shoes back on. He was happy to see me but I could tell that he had fun. He even slept for a little over an hour which I was really surprised about. Here are some things from his day. Keep in mind that Jeff didn't take the camera claiming he didn't have enough hands so I had to take this when I picked him up with my phone.
That is Maxwell on the changing table with Mrs Crystal.
Maxwell's "GREAT FIRST DAY" report!
This month they are learning about animals so this was the craft today.
After school we met my friend Kendall for a late lunch and she got Max a cookie for having such a good day at school.
