The Big 2-7!

I turned 27 yesterday. And now that I am officially closer to 30 than 20 I have been reflecting on my life. I could be down about the fact that I could have been done with college by now if I had stayed in. Which many of you know I never would have finished since I'm not what you would call scholarly. Or I could just bask in the good things that are my life! So here is to 27 years or learning, fun, heartache and unimaginable joy, and hoping for 57 more!

Yesterday was a pretty normal day. I went to work, spent time with Max and Jeff came home. People tell me that as you get older birthdays just become another day and it was with some special moments thrown in. After work Max and I ran some errands. We had time in between errands and meeting my bestie Christie that we stopped at Penick Park. I couldn't get any really great pictures but here is what I got.

After the park we went to Hobby Lobby where Christie and Nicholas bought me a new pair of sewing scissors. It was to adorable when we left Nicholas gave me my present and randomly started singing "Happy Birthday." Christie was floored! She didn't know he could sing that and she just had a birthday last week and did not receive the glorious serenade that I did. I'm pretty sure she was jealous. After that Jeff and I ended up going to Flat Tire Burger. Yes I had a burger on my birthday but have no fear I went to my FAVORITE place on Monday, Sophabellas, with my whole family. It was delish as always. Overall it was a good day. Jeff made me a cake and my nephews in Texas (Eric & Coleton What up!) sang me one of the best birthday songs ever. It brought a smile to my face that never left, thank you boys. Here it is if for your viewing pleasure too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9f_wM9J8oic
