Jeff and I took Max to the Zoo yesterday. We spent the morning oohing and awing with the Jaggis at all of the animals. And I think we couldn't have possibly picked a better day. It was gorgeous outside. Nice cool breeze and not to crowded. Knowing how much Maxwell loves animals we really should have taken him more this year. This was the first time though and better late than never! Here is Max while we were waiting for the Jaggi family at the entrance.
Here is Max in the petting zoo with Jeff. I'm not sure why but as soon as he touched this goat he literally scared the poop out of it. I have no desire to see goat poop again!
This is Maxwell at the lorikeet exhibit. Jeff held the food so Max wouldn't get attacked, but the birds were landing everywhere even on Max and he was in love and amazed.
Maxwell LOVED the sea lions. He kept say, "Wow, Oh Wow" and pointing. For those of you who don't know this is one of the very few things that Max can say and I love it. It's like music to my ears!
I love this picture of Maxwell and his daddy! I will admit though that Jeff hurt his back really bad the day before and took a pain killer before we left. (Don't worry I drove.) But I kept getting scared that he was going to drop him. Max loves it when his daddy carries him though.
The Browns riding the carousel!
Lastly Max was so tired that he kept falling asleep while we were leaving and fell asleep again on the way home. I think it must be a pretty good sign that he fell asleep on the way home from total exhaustion. We are looking into a Zoo pass for the family now that we saw how much he loved it.

The zoo was so much fun and I loved hearing Max saying "WOW! OH, WOW!" Cutest thing ever. But I think you forgot to include something very important. Don't pretend you don't know what I'm talking about either. Stop trying to protect yourself!
