Why did none of you inform me that a minor change to Maxwell's room would bring a nervous brake down from Max?!?! I thought we had built a relationship on trust and understanding. I scratch your back and you scratch mine! Apparently I was wrong. OR I should have shared my plans with you and you could have told me what a bad idea this was. Whats done is done and now the Browns are all suffering the consequences. Here's what happened. First of all Max's bed has been away from the wall for a little bit. Our house is not big therefore are room aren't either. At first we had Maxwell's bed against the corner and that was very close to his window. We didn't realize it at first because he was so small but doing this was a bad plan because any time he didn't think he had to lay down he would look out the window. At one point he tore down the mini blinds that were there. So after that we moved his bed down the wall so he couldn't reach the window. Blast! That didn't work either!!! He could reach the light switch with the bed being moved. It took effort at first but he mastered it. I think he would use the light to accompany the music box on his bed. We tried covering it taping it but nothing worked. So I finally got so ticked that I moved the bed away from all walls and it sat taking up a ton of space in the middle of his room. After putting away his laundry this weekend I got sick of the bed being in the way so I started to pull everything out to move the dresser and bed. Max seemed to like it and not have a problem until... it was time for bed. You would have thought I cut Steve (his favorite blanket) right up in front of him. He cried so hard I thought he might never go to sleep. That has happened for the past few days, however, it does seem to be getting better. I'll keep you posted!
Here is the room after I rearranged everything. Remind me to keep it this way. Also I was told a story about how my sweet husband FLIPPED when Yaya sold his favorite car. It reminded me how much Jeff hates change. It goes to prove that Max might look like me but acts just like daddy!

thats too funny! i never had a problem just moving things around but getting the bunk beds was a huge adjustment. that Max is quite the character! love the blog. read it all the time.
