Father's Day

I have a confession to make first before I put on record the Brown's 2nd fathers day. First of all I was kind of under the impression last weekend that it was fathers day then... oops! Well I made Jeff's favorite dinner and a chocolate cake made from scratch with homemade icing. Very tasty but it turned out to be for absolutely nothing. Why!?!? Because I found out Saturday night that fathers day wasn't the next day. I had to work overtime last Sunday so I made sure that I had everything ready by Saturday night. Ugh! At least my husband knows I care. So today, on actual fathers day Jeff soaked it all up. My dad took the baby to church today so he stayed the night with him last night. Meaning that Jeff got to sleep in. When I got home I took Max out to run some errands. Then I watched the baby all day while Jeff did whatever he felt like doing. Then I was REALLY nice. I made another homemade chocolate cake and after we put the baby to bed we watched UFC. So bloody and mean. I wonder if these guys even like each other in real life. But I digress. So after 2 homemade cakes and a day of relaxation I would say that Jeff's fathers day was pretty good. You would have to ask him about that though. Until next time!

This was actually cake #1. I didn't take a picture of the 2nd one. It's fairly easy to make and VERY tasty. If anyone is interested in the recipe let me know.
