So things as usual have become somewhat hectic in the Brown house. Turns out that my gallbladder is only working at 6%. Needless to say that I am now going under the knife on Tuesday. Nothing to major and it's not like I have or ever have had a bikini body so I'm sure it wont be bad. I'm not really worried about the surgery just the recovery. The doctor doesn't want me lifting more than 10 pounds for four weeks after the surgery and Max definitely exceeds that. This is going to be interesting. I have a great family though and everyone is offering up help. Hopefully the house doesn't turn into a pig sty while I'm down for the count. I'm just trying to get everything I need to do done before Tuesday. One of the first things on my list was to make sure that Max got to see Santa. The line was short, thank goodness, and even though Max did not take more than a 30 minute nap today he was in a good mood. At first he wasn't sure what to think of this big jolly man with a beard. The first two pictures were of Max just touching Santa's beard and looking him over. Then came the Brown charm. I know this might surprise some of you, but Max inherited his daddy's charm. He just turns it on more often than his daddy does. In this picture I think he looks like me of course, but that smirk is all Jeff. I love my boys! Also while I'm on the usual topic of Max... he had his big hearing test yesterday and passed with flying colors! I guess he is his daddy in more way than one. Turns out he can hear me talking to him he just doesn't care what I have to say, ugh men. Also Sooner Start came out right on time and they are happy with his improvement. Jamie (his worker) says that he is showing improvement every week. He is pulling up on everything and if he drops something he makes the effort to lower himself down or bend down to get it. Yea Maxwell!!! At this rate I hope he will be walking by the end of February. Other than that we are all working and getting excited for Christmas. Keep Jeff in your thoughts while he is taking care of Max and me and I'll try to sneak in a blog of two while I'm off work.Friday, December 11, 2009
