Christmas 2009

Day 1

Merry Christmas from the Browns! I have been informed that it is unacceptable that it has taken a week to get our Christmas blogged. As many of you know with Christmas Eve came a blizzard. Some areas in the metro saw as much as 14.1 inches of snow. It was CRAZY! Max got to see his first real snow fall. He was in awe. I put his hand in the snow and he hated it. He was confused by this wet white stuff stuck to his hand. So needless to say the Richardson family Christmas on Christmas Eve was canceled and the next few days were spent playing catch up. It was a really nice holiday though.

Because of the snow and not going out on Christmas Eve we let Max open one of his gifts early. And as you can see Daddy loved the ball pit as much as Max did.

This was our quite evening at home went on Christmas Eve. It was nice being just the 3 of us. I made some chili and we all lounged in our pajamas.

Day 2
On Christmas I had to work until 2:00. So Santa made a late stop and the Brown house. Papa Mike and Granny Peggy came to celebrate the holiday with us.

Day 3

Finally the roads cleared some and the family was able to make it to Uncle Jake and Aunt Brittney's house for Christmas with my family. It was fun and we played Dirty Santa. Jeff ended up with $20 of lotto scratchers and I got a $20 gift card to Starbucks. At least I have my gift card, but all that Jeff won was $2 and a free ticket. Hope he doesn't spend it all in one place! In case you cant tell that is Uncle Jeff enjoying the gift that he and Andrea got Max. He has been affectionately named Leonard.

Day 4

Finally on Sunday Tina and Sharon came over after I got off work. We had lunch and opened gifts.

So now we are week after Christmas festivities we are still trying to recover. We officially have to many toys due to 4 days of Christmas and a ton of great memories with our second Christmas on the books.
