Many of you know of one of my best friends Christie. She keeps up with her adorable little guy Nicholas and has officially put me to shame. I have obviously been a little behind on keeping everyone up to date on the comings and goings of the Brown family recently. What can I say... I have no excuse other than that life gets in the way. So to start off Max had his 1 year appointment and everything went pretty good. He didn't even cry when they took his blood. Getting shots was another story, but overall it wasn't a bad visit. He weighs 18 pounds and 13 ounces and is 29.75 inches tall. He is on the big boy chart again this time so I think that the preemie chart is officially a thing of the past. I do feel a little silly and had a first time mommy moment. I forgot until after I freaked out that Max got his MMR shot and the doctor told me that he might break out in a rash and be fussy for a few days. But the good news is Max is immune to the measles! Everything has been going the same for Jeff and I we are both working and spending as much time as we can with Maxwell. Jeff has been experiencing some with drawls since he went to the last Redhawks game of the season on Thursday. No worries he will bounce back like always. Plus there is a silver lining since the MLB season isn't over until OCTOBER!!! Why does he have to love a sport that plays over 150 games! We are getting family pictures taken this week so hopefully we will have some new awesome pictures to post. One of the pictures is of Max with one of this new birthday presents from Uncle Jake and Aunt Brittany. He loves to sit on it but hasn't figured out that he can make himself move, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The other two are just cute pictures that I've taken between now and my last post. Again sorry about the wait. I promise to be better!!!
