I had to work on the 4th of July so Max didn't go to the parade. It was some of the best 4th of July weather I can remember in a long time. Don't get me wrong it was hot, but it was actually a manageable kind of hot with an occasional breeze thrown in. After I got off work went over to my brother Jeff's house to see the whole family. We cooked out, swam and even ended it with homemade ice cream.
Since the whole family was there I got to see my adorable niece!
And of course we ended the night with a literal bang. Max loved the fireworks. Jeff not so much but oh well. Max wanted to explore toward the end and started getting a little restless. We stuffed the back of the jeep with blankets and pillows and enjoyed some popcorn and juice. It was a busy day from start to finish but it was nice nonetheless.
