The Brown's are on the mend!

I think in general the Brown's are back! Max's ears seem better and he just cut another tooth. Also Sooner Start came out for Maxwell's first session. For those of you who don't know Sooner Start is a state run program for children between birth and 3 years old. It basically helps children that are having delays (speech, social, developmental etc.) get on track. It keeps them on track and identify possible problems. We set a short term goal of having Max walking short distances without help in the next 6 months. This session was pretty much a meet and greet between Max and I with his worker. She is very nice and sweet. Our next session is on Tuesday so I'll update you all more then.

I'm also feeling better. The shingles are almost completely gone and it looks like there wont be any scars left behind, from that. The Sweet's is also gone and the infection that was in my arm has cleared up. The doctor did say that there is going to be discoloration on my arm for the next couple of months. I'm a little worried there are going to be scars left behind from the Sweets though. Oh yeah I almost forgot, the ulcer I got from all the medicine I was taking is also healing up nicely.

Jeff has started picking up some events at the Ford Center. Just last night he worked Star Wars. He has told Max that he is never allowed to watch anything Star Wars. I guess he kept getting hit with light sabers and what is worse about it wasn't children but 30 year old men that were hitting him. Jeff is feeling a tad bit under the weather the past few days, but hopefully it is just the weather changing. I hope you all are not to tired from reading this long of an update. I'm excited for Halloween and ready to show off my little man!

  1. HEY! There is NOTHING wrong with Star Wars. It was a way of life for the "30" group of which he speaks. But I do know that some of them take it a little far....ahem, the Star Wars Club and the guy who drives around town in a make shift X-Wing. No, we don't want our boys to become those people.

In other news - I'm so glad to hear you're doing better, Jess, and look forward to the Sooner Start updates!
